This June, we had the opportunity to travel to Spain to attend two of Europe’s most important technology and innovation events. Ten days, two cities, and one conclusion we confirmed once again: being there in person remains one of the most powerful differentiators in a world that moves at an incredible pace.

The Main Stages

Our first stop was Madrid for South Summit — one of the most relevant global gatherings for founders, investors, and technology companies. For three days, the European tech ecosystem came together to discuss what’s next, showcase what’s already happening, and connect the people building the future.

From there, we headed to Málaga for the 10th edition of DES (Digital Enterprise Show), Europe’s leading B2B event focused on artificial intelligence and exponential technologies. More than 400 companies, 500 international speakers, and 15,000 C-level professionals gathered under one roof. The scale was impressive — and so was the energy.

Networking: The Value of Face-to-Face Connections

In an increasingly digital world — where meetings are virtual and connections often begin with a LinkedIn message — meeting in person remains irreplaceable. We saw this firsthand in every conversation we had throughout our time in Spain.

South Summit and DES bring together founders, investors, technology leaders, and companies making real business decisions. Running into someone in a hallway, sharing a conversation, or sitting down for a coffee with the right person creates a level of trust and connection that simply cannot be replicated through a video call.

Exploring the exhibition booths added another valuable layer. Seeing tools and solutions already being adopted by companies of all sizes helps us better understand market demands, identify the most sought-after technology profiles, and improve both our internal processes and the value we deliver to our clients.

We left with new ideas, new questions, and a clearer vision of where the market we operate in is heading.
